Jeffrey P. Burnham
Partner, President, Registered Consultant
As the leader of the firm’s business operations, Jeffrey P. Burnham focuses primarily on client growth, client satisfaction, and the continuous development of the firm’s overall capabilities. Prior to founding the basis of Burnham Benefit Advisors in 1977, Jeff worked in the New England benefit marketplace for Prudential out of their Northeast home office in Boston.
Jeff has over 40 years of experience providing consultative benefit services to businesses of all sizes, including helping leading companies around the Northeast deal successfully with a wide range of benefit-related issues. He attended the State University of New York, is a charter member of the Association of Health Insurance Agents, the National Association of Health Underwriters, and has received the National Quality Award from LIMRA, a prestigious industry organization.
Tish C. Biesemeyer
Tish is a long-time partner and Senior Benefit Advisor who focuses on public sector account management and benefit consulting. As a member of Burnham Benefit Advisors executive team since 1984, Tish has proven to be a well-resourced and highly qualified benefit design specialist.
Under Tish’s leadership her sales assistance team is focused on how Burnham Benefit Advisors innovative solutions can best address the changing needs of her clients.
Tish is well versed in all phases of municipal collective bargaining, gaining trust by implementing time-trusted benefit strategies that contain costs while maintaining satisfactory benefit levels. She is an American College designee, attended the State University of New York, and Hollins College, and has continued her industry education as an added value to her many clients.
Mark L. Crawford
Partner, CLU, ChFC
Prior to joining Burnham Benefit Advisors in 1997, Mark L. Crawford was a benefit plan consultant for New England Financial in Boston, where he provided large case design support for benefit plans to employers and their advisors throughout the United States.
Mark brings more than 15 years’ experience of servicing large case employer groups with both self-funded and fully insured benefit plans. He specializes in design-oriented due diligence that ensures clients are properly positioned in today’s complex health care landscape.
Mark’s leadership expertise includes plan design, strategy development, and vendor execution analysis. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Stetson University and is a Chartered Financial Consultant.
Under Mark’s direction, Burnham Benefit Advisors has become a leader in benefit brokerage and consulting with more than 400 benefit plans under management today.
Christina A. Dock
Executive Vice President HR Administration & Compliance, RHU, REBC, PHR
Christina A. Dock joined Burnham Benefit Advisors in 2000 with an initial focus on benefit administration and client retention. Today she leads the Human Resource Administration and Compliance department with responsibility for benefit program execution and plan communication. Christina partners with our clients to ensure they receive up-to-date information in HR related laws and trends in order to administer benefit programs efficiently. In addition, Christina and her team develop programs to eliminate time-consuming tasks associated with daily benefit administration. Areas of attention and additional expertise include HR administration, communication and appreciation, and compliance, always focusing on client satisfaction and exceeding all expectations.
Christina earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from St. Lawrence University and holds the prestigious designations of Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Registered Health Underwriter (RHU), and Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC).
